As he specifically spoke about Chelsea I would have them as favourites.
So over the past few days there have been two contrasting sets of reports. Some suggesting he's off to the rags, others suggesting he's signing for Chelsea, and yet they are still being discussed as if reliable. The fact that everything regarding City remains quiet does my confidence a lot of good with this one

Ah well, I did say that if Chelsea won the Champions League (and way too many City fans were supporting them!) then it would have a detrimental impact upon us.

On the bright side it fucked up Spurs completely and TBH I would rather have a fully competitive prem league with at least 4 teams going to the wire. I am not sure whether my heart could take too many title races with just ourselves and rags involved.

whilst there's no love lost for spuds or munich, chelsea out of the CL would hurt them severely

I didn't, I was blinded by hating Hoeness and other Bayern twats but yes, it definitely helped Chelsea a lot and made them bigger competition to us.
