If levy turned down £42m for Modric then he's a fucking idiot!!! I personally think you guys would benefit letting a big player go to free up more funds. Twitcher seems to grab bargains and make his money go along way. Although he looked a twat bringing in nelson and Saha!!

The reason why is we can't get replacements of similar quality for the wages that Bale and Modric are on. We have money to spend this window without having to let anyone go if we make CL. Levy anticipated Harry getting the England job so didn't give him money to spend and we went for stop gaps instead. I think Harry will be sacked at the end of the season and we'll give a new manager money to spend.
That would be the best business you can do. Redknapp is quite shit and the only thing that hold you guys back.

You think he'll get the boot?? Who to replace him then??

I think he had to win the last 4 games to keep his job, which he has failed to do already. My choice would be someone like Capello who I think could instill a winning mentality, but idk who Levy would go for. My guess would be Rodgers but idk.

Coincidence that capello recently said he wanted to boss in the premier league and he loves London?? You'd be better with the tax dodger than postman pat surely??

Not just the Independent running the Belhanda story, Ladyman are the Mail is doing the same, saying it's all over Hazard's crazy wage demands and Belhanda would be cheaper transfer fee and cheaper wages.

Some people rate Belhanda more than Hazard but I can't see it - not that I've seen much of Belhanda compared to Hazard, but if he was better than Hazard he'd cost a lot more than £7million-£10million.

City line up Belhanda as alternative to Hazard as move stalls over wage demands

Manchester City have identified young Moroccan forward Younes Belhanda as a fall back option if they can't land No 1 summer target Eden Hazard this summer.

City are currently struggling to meet Hazard's high wage demands after a two-month pursuit of the Belgian.

Staff from the Barclays Premier League leaders gave the 21-year-old Lille player a tour of exclusive property in Cheshire after inviting him to last week's Manchester derby victory over United at the Etihad Stadium.

Sportsmail understands, however, that City manager Roberto Mancini does not want the saga to drag on all summer and has earmarked 22-year-old Belhanda as another possibility as he looks to beef up his squad for next season.

Another player from the French league, Belhanda has starred this season for Montpellier - scoring 12 goals - and has been short-listed as Player of the Year and Young Player of the Year in his adopted country.

A product of the Montpellier youth academy, he has been compared to Samir Nasri and to another former Arsenal star Robert Pires.

He can play on either wing or behind a centre forward and is valued in the £10million bracket as opposed to Hazard's £30m price tag.

City are still exploring their chances of luring Robin van Persie from Arsenal this summer as Mancini reshapes his attacking options.

Mario Balotelli and Carlos Tevez are unofficially up for sale after their problems this season but City will not accept less than £20m for either player.

Best player for current top team in Ligue 1. Cant be too bad.
