Well this is the drawback of obsessing over certain players, you should be grateful for what City already have then obsessing on who we don't have. If Hazard goes to Spurs, so be it, but we'll still have a better squad and we might sign someone who turns out just as good or better than him like the extremely unpopular yet more productive Di Maria, who has more productivity as a creative source in a much better league than Hazard and who Mancini visibly rates highly.

I think he's made his mind up on the Prem (because playing time in his Spanish options is limited) and he's stirring up a bidding war for himself. He might have an affinity for London considering the pattern of the clubs he's talked up since this started, or maybe the Manchester clubs are later on his list. I'm not taking any of it seriously until he's on sky holding up a red, white or blue shirt.

Anyone who said he was a transfer tease was sport on. He's a great talent, but I'm wondering if £33 million would be better spent for us on other positions. We still need a striker, a back up left back, a goalkeeper (for when friedel retires, so maybe that could wait another year), and maybe a centre back (depending on whether or not King signs a new deal), and i'm quite excited by Caulker's progress so far. I would like an upgrade on Lennon, but I don't think that it is our priority this year.
