In light of what has occurred over the last 24 hours, i would be happy if this fella did not actually come to our club. He seemed to love basking in the lime light after his last game, and has now reportedly confirmed that he has had a change of heart due to the fact that Chelski have won the champions league.

I think this fella has grown a little too big for his boots IMO, everyone including media and people on here have treated this saga as if it were Messi leaving Barca.

Now I am not saying the fella does not have ability..but come on, the way he has gone about this transfer business gives an indication as to his personality and his ego - he could be potentially dangerous in the dressing room if he is not always playing and that is not what is required at City. Yes Bobby dealt with the Tevez escapade really well, but the last thing we & he wants is another ego trip that can damage our campaign for next season.

^^this and nothing at all else^^

I can't see what all the fuss is about and in particular what the lad or his gaent have done wrong? They are simply keeping all options open while playing the media at their own game.

Give the lad a break.

This

It's funny that when the chairman of Lille say's "they will start
negotiation for the sale of Hazard after the season is done",but no one believe's him and it's bull shit and the deal is already done.

But when some guy on Twiters say's" he will annons it after the game"
everyone goes ape shit when it's not true.

Hazard said last night "till he as put pen to paper he will not say where he is going" and that is good enough for me.

Maybe he as an offer from the rag's but went to come to us and it is City who are draging there feet and are using that knoweldge to get him on the cheap.
We just don't know.

The guy is trying to get the best deal possible for his family. Screw what we or others think. The world is his oyster so he can do as he pleases.

He had his kids by his side last night do I hope that's a sign that he is a steady down to earth guy. Once he's not a party animal I welcome him.

If he goes anywhere else he's a langer.

Hazard is getting a really rough deal it would appear.

He's a young lad with a young family to consider and signing away the next five years of his life.

Some pertinent facts, unlike the links to both United and Chelsea, only one club has taken the trouble to invite him to their stadium and show him properties.

Only one club and one manager has put across their plans, hopes and long-term visions.

Just like Yaya, Silva and Nasri, this episode shares a lot of hallmarks, the late entry of another club etc.

There are three players at Chelsea in Lampard, Torres Terry who have parity clauses which keep them in line with the top earner at the club.

The top line is way below £200k a week, and yet we see ridiculous sums of £300k a week now being thrown into the mix for Hazard.

Abramovich will not pay those sums, and neither will we.

The boy will have his say, let him have it when it is only relevant to do so.

Tolmie
Could the deal maker/breaker be agents fees?
Havent we played "hardball" with agents in recent times.
Hazard and Yaya share agents.

Looks like city done a lot of work trying to persuade the lad. If Chelsea rags us all offer the same deal I wonder who he would choose?
