I strongly believed he had because of all the news emerging about him being United bound, and because I knew he was never interested in joining City as much as using City as a scapegoat to increase his wage and transfer fee from other clubs that are offering him contracts. It may be next week, it may be the 30th of August, only one thing's for certain, by September 1st we'll all know where Eden Hazard will be playing football in the 2012/13 season.

There are good Plan Bs even if we don't get Hazard. Muniain would be brilliant as he's a fighter who works his arse off for the team and has immense talent. Bale is tried and tested in the PL, his technical skills are inferior to Hazard (in my opinion) but his pace and directness would give us another dimension. Di Maria despite being a diving prick is an excellent player who we could go back for as he wants more wages than Real have offered. Then there are lower profile players like Belhanda, Cazorla, Navas, Harnik, Hoilett who might not be as good but would give us new options.
