Think your talking out your arse then to be fair .No I'm not I think degea and Allison are better shot shoppers. The Brazilian manager thinks do as well. I said that his side tribur room is fantastic probably best in the world
I just think that 3 of the last 4 goals conceded were his fault no one else's.
A couple of top drawer saves in there against Burnley. There was good one in there too where he had to readjust after a deflection, the type of save that everyone was going mental over DeGea making last week.
There was also one recently against Shaktar from a freekick that was a great save too, can't find it.
World class keeper, has his moments where you feel he could do better, like all keepers, perhaps if he kicked his legs up a bit more when he's diving he'd look better.

City would not have won 100 points last season with De Gea but did with Ederson therefore Ederson is the better keeper for City.Is ederson better than Degea. I don't think so. I Would think that most premier managers would pick degea over ederson. And don't tell me fuck off again

Allison hasn’t looked good at all in England. He’s an upgrade on what they had, but he’s looked quite average.
De Gea has been pretty awful for about 3 years, he is so one dimensional it’s untrue. How many big goals has he cost United? Spain? He was directly responsible for Spain’s WC exit. Their Euro’s exit too, two years prior.
He cost United their CL place last year, he was at fault for the killer goal in the derby.
De Gea has cost Jnited more goals in the same period Ederson has been at City. You just won’t hear about it or see it highlighted.
Ederson could have done better on the odd occasion but he & our team are the most cohesive and compatible system in the game.

He’s not. He’s a brilliant shot stopper. The rest of his game is poor.
He doesn’t read the game well, he’s often rooted to his line costing them goals from both over the top balls & set pieces.
His distribution is average at best. He also makes lots of errors.
His biggest weakness in 2018 is and it’s far more obvious when he’s playing for Spain is, unlike Ederson and many others he can’t be used in a possession based defensive system.

Nothing to do with eye catching saves. Only mentioned it’s been a while since he made one that one wouldn’t expect him to. I still think he’s the best keeper in the world for City and wouldn’t swap him for anyone.When you only face 2 shots a game it's hard to make eye catching saves.#
He made loads for Benfica, he's got the ability to do it.

I agree with this. I also think he should do better with the goal on Saturday. Its not a powerful header and I think he's too flat footed.

Was there a from beyond the grave remake? Newman was in it the last time I watched. Having said that steve was most definitely the king of coolHe doesn't get enough credit for his concentration levels. He's used more as an outfield player than a goalkeeper. I fucking love the guy. He's Steve McQueen in Cool Hand Luke.

In reality there is no better goalkeeper for our team.
Is he as good as De Gea at making saves? I certainly can't claim he is from what I've seen from him in a City shirt. So would I prefer De Gea? Not a chance. Ederson is a foundation of how our team plays, we let the opposition have so few shots because of how often we have the ball, and how few mistakes he makes with it at his feet. If we had De Gea as our keeper I'd fully expect us to concede more because we'd be conceding more chances on goal. And I'd fully expect us to score less because we'd end up with less possession/control of the game.
Pep has changed the roles of what can be expected of a keeper, and for now Ederson is the perfect keeper for us. I'm sure he'll prove his shot-stopping abilities at times when we face stronger opposition who create more than 1-2 shots a game against us.

Yes, De Gea certainly hasn't been at his best this season. But I think it's fair to say over the past few seasons his shot-stopping has saved United a heck of a lot more pain than they already have. I have no qualms admitting he's a ruddy good keeper in terms of making saves.His shot stopping/XGA is ahead of the donut thief this season, only Buffon and Allison have been better in Europe.
We haven't seen that level of shot-stopping from Ederson in a City shirt, and in honesty we likely won't, but that's because as I said we just don't concede anywhere near as many chances that require those types of saves at that frequency.

Are you kidding,he has saved them so many points,their player of the yr the last 4yrs for a reason,they would be near the bottom of the prem without him,that said all he does is shot stop nothing else and he is not doing much of that this seasonHollywood keeper.
