I think you'll find the UK variant is particularly clever, as it use to stay in doors until 22:30 when pubs closed. If this isn't a sign of higher intelligence then what is?

You'll understand it more if you've ever happened to use public transport after 22:30.

This is what Simon Jordan said on Talksport today. I know he's unpopular here but he did make a compelling argument about the clubs kicking it to CAS and that Brazil choosing which players can play is ridiculous. They can't say Richarlison can play because they simply "Like Everton".

Where did you see / hear that they like Everton so Richarlison doesn't have to play.
I'm assuming that the reason Rucharlison was left out of the squad is because he was at the Copa America, Olympics and played at the start of the premier league.

He wasn't left out of the squad. He was withdrawn from the squad by Everton in exactly the same way and for the same reasons the other clubs withdrew their players

They're saying they won't punish Everton because they went out of their way to help Brazil in the olympics

Its absolute bullshit of course and they have probably shot themselves in the foot by doing this as the other clubs will use this against them to argue their case

But I'm guessing that it's not meant as a favour to Everton but to Richarlison himself.
Brazil are not the only country that are calling for the player bans.
I think they are wrong but surely Fifa should have put a halt to this before it even started. The Brazilian panel are playing with clubs from all over the World.
I see that Japan have just pulled out as hosts for the World Club finals due to Covid worries.
