It would be great to see but can't see it happening. He must have been bored out of his mind yesterday - must have been tempted to get involved further up the pitch.
 
Was it Peru that had their keeper take pens and free kicks? Think his name was Chilervert or something.
I'm sure Pep wouldn't allow Ederson to take one but without a designated penalty taker as such, I wonder if Ederson practices penalties in training in case of a shoot out? He'd possibly be a candidate, especially if it went into sudden death.
 
It is disrespectful because he isn't our taker. If he was our penalty taker all the time then that is different. We are basically saying we have the title wrapped up so we are going to take the piss out of everyone else.

Anything else than the recognised penalty taker would be insulting and asking for trouble.
