Ederson

Why would they just fold and give us what we want, they are in no rush to get it done are they.

It is a game of chicken, City seem relaxed to let him go if an offer arrives because we have Ortega and Saudi are relaxed because there is no other competition for the signing and every week that goes by Ederson might be getting itchy feet and could turn on City and go on strike etc which could drive down the price.

Because they are not Barcelona. Because he might change his mind, and stay, or even sign an extension for more money here. And because what City are reportedly asking for is well reaspnable and they'll know it.

When have you known the Saudis to haggle and play chicken when they have a player convinced, they just do it and get that picture in a shirt up. I don't think this is as close as twitter makes out.

Everything we know so far has pointed to Ederson being content with staying, if he wasn't then he wouldn't be with the squad. Maybe City are working on a deal for someone and want that over the line before Ederson goes anywhere, could be anything.

We haven't known them to care before but maybe now they are trying run themselves a bit more seriously, they bid several times for DIaby at Villa as an example to try and get a better deal.

So as I was saying, this is not as close as claims would have you believe.

Haven't read about them getting a better deal for Diaby, seemed pretty quick to me. But will take your word for it.

Has anyone said its close, the very last post by Romano on this was that we are miles away?

The deal was quick because they were more keen to get it done but they definitely bid more than once. They value goal scoring attacking wingers a lot more than a keeper, naturally!

Soon as he confirms to stay. He's nailed on to drop a clanger in the friendlies or community shield just wouldn't be City otherwise... lol

If Ederson wants to leave he can do, and it does look like he wants to, the price is roughly what we paid for him, and is all to do with being seen to be good at business, after all neither is strapped for cash.
Who to buy? there are a lot that are better at one thing or another, but Bulka the Nice goalkeeper is the most underrated, he maybe Association trained as well coming out of the Chelsea academy

Shit not seen this before:)

Sadly I think it clear that if the Saudi's pay a decent transfer fee he goes.

One's a players head is turned basically it's over and time to move on, sadly in this case.
