It's becoming apparent with the massive build-up of fixtures Alvaro is running on empty. It's little wonder with a strike partner like Edin playing alongside him. The reality is he virtually never busts a gut for the team and frequently stands idly by; causing little, or no threat to the oppositions goal. I'm thankful for all Dzeko has contributed for the club but in retrospect if he had the contributed a whole lot during his time here. He wasn't quite awful yesterday in fact, he made a wonderful Silva-esque pass which almost resulted in a goal but that was about all he offered imo. City fans quite frankly are growing tired of his glaringly obvious lack of work rate and overall contribution to the team.

It's inevitable that he'll be sold in the summer and I wish him all the best but as for all you snidey Dzeko fans, you can do one.

While we are quick to knock one of our own players to score some strange point over a Dzeko fan boy, it can not be understated just how many goals he has scored for us and as his job is to score goals, I fail to see why we should lose money on a player that is capable of scoring over 20 goals in any league in the world, given the same amount of playing time as other players.

Now I am not suggesting he is the worlds best forward and his attitude and desire can be called into question but not his goals per minute ratio.

Fucking sick of City giving players away for fuck all, them twats across the way always seem to get top dollar for their cast offs and it is time we started to get the same.

Case in point Mario, 1 goal and a cheap transfer and probable loss on the deal and then bang plenty of goals for Milan, or that ridiculous deal that seen us loan Big Phil to a club with a prearranged transfer fee and then they sell him on straight away for 5 or 6 million, shocking business.

juventus wouldn't get 20m and we wouldn't get above 12-13m for dzeko if he had 5 years left on his contract.
