Some second class wumming going on by the self proclaimed Dzeko camp.

Perhaps I should post another lamp post pic to bring out their best, that usually keeps them angry for a week or two.

or you could get a life or a job and do something productive. You come of as an intelligent individual, but by arguing with 10yo Bosnian kids you actually drop to their level.

Well, my job finishes at 5pm, my weekends are free and I just spent the night coaching my local U7's which is rather productive and fulfilling to me.

My presence in this thread has suffered lately, I apologize, but I have been trying my hardest to find the time to post such despicable and disparaging comments about the guy lately;

Played very well today I thought, did well with the ball on the ground and dropped deep and defended when needed.

Only gripe would be for him to jump more rather than constantly back in to the defender but he was never going to have much joy if we kept hoofing the ball up to him with him up there by himself.

Brilliant when he came on, and bar a fine save from Valdes and a disgraceful refereeing decision he could easily have turned the game on it's head by himself.

His good run of form earlier in the season began after Bayern away, hopefully this performance does the same.
Disgraceful I know, but what do you expect from me? I hate him after all.

Any free time I have now I will occasionally feel the urge to poke the bear a bit admittedly. Not at the players expense though, some people are just putting themselves on a plate these days.

Who said I was trying to come across as neutral? I was just stating the situation as it currently is. In terms of 'winners' and 'losers', those who rate Dzeko are currently 'winning', as the manager seems to agree more with their view. For a while earlier on this season, and most of the last couple of seasons, those who don't rate him were 'winning' because the manager appeared to agree more with their views. Actually that's not quite true - if any manager agreed with the average view of those who don't rate Dzeko, he'd never get a game at all and would have been sold by now (perhaps they tried and it's a financial thing - I don't know).

And in terms of being impartial, you're language isn't exactly impartial is it?: "City fans" on one side and "Bosnians" on the other - not very original nor accurate, I'd hazard to guess.

What a strange, petty way to view the thread. Dzeko is playing bad so City fans are "winning".

Holy crap, you don't think this thread is petty? I don't think you've been paying attention! it's almost nothing but petty.

And although I put 'winning' in quotes (which I'd like to think you understood the subtelty of, but tactically chose not to you acknowledge), it wouldn't be far-fetched to use the term literally on here. It's much more about scoring points against the opposition than trying to have a reasonable debate - if anyone truly thinks they're going to change anyone else's mind at this point they're deluded.

For sure, the strength of opinion ebbs and flows depending on recent form, but if you love him and he's had 10 bad games, at which point you accept he's maybe not that great, it only takes one decent performance for you to forget the bad and re-elevate him to greatness. And vice versa.

I guess that's why first impressions are so important in life - once most people have made that first judgement, they tend to upgrade events that confirm it and downgrade events that contradict it. It's called 'confirmation bias' and it's real and we can't just pretend it doesn't affect us (well, obviously we can pretend that, but we'd be wrong). It's why you need statistics (data) to help you sort out what's true and what isn't. I don't mean the kind of statistics that get posted on here that are often poorly understood by the posters themselves and merely used to prove a point rather than to enlighten the debate. I mean the kind used in the best scientific research to figure out what's truly going on in the world. But I digress.

Also I'm not impartial and didn't attempt to come across so with the initial condescending post.
Finally, kudos to you for not trying to pretend to be impartial and admitting to being condescending - a bit of refreshing honesty on here!

Did you get that out of your system? Twisting my words and making a load of points that have nothing to do with the subject at hand, you'd make a good Bosnian.

"I digress" was about the only part of that post that holds any weight.

I DARE City to sell him to any top 10 team in premier league. Since he sucks so bad and its not good enough, this should be great move to weaken our competition..... ;)

Ooh you dare City to sell him? Christ what a bold statement, we'll sell him to who we want and he'll accept it.

More fantastic Bosnian contribution on blue moon.

Ha ha! That's actually not a bad assessment - I did feel better afterwards! I didn't intend to twist your words, btw - maybe I misunderstood, but you did say "I'm not impartial" and also you referenced your "initial condescending post" (thought that was funny), neither of which I think are terrible things - sometimes you can't help but sound condescending if people don't seem to get something that's blindingly obvious to you.

And from the little I know of Bosnia and the Bosnian people, I'll take it as compliment that you think I'd make a good one.

Everybody listen, the Sheikh has spoken... The club wont sell him to Chelsea or Arsenal that's quite obvious . Your cocky comment is a good example, that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

Since the Sheikh has taken over can you list me just one player that we have sold to arsenal/Chelsea/United or any direct rival. Instead of coming in with a moronic, aggressive post, why don't you think it through next time buddy?

Are you aware of who holds all the cards in this situation? Do you know even the most basic rules of transfers? Arsenal bid for Dzeko but we don't want to sell to a title rival... How do you think that ends?
