Edin Dzeko (contract update page 370)

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Arsenal's #1 January target according to the Mail! After Nasri, Adebayor, and Kolo what price tag should we be looking to put on him?

After all, every player has his price. I'm thinking £35million which would make Monsieur Whinger quickly turn around and head to France to make another underwhelming signing that has Arsenal fans tearing their hair out.

Again some people have no clue why edin does not perform when he starts. When he starts the game City are in the pass and move style of play ( Play from the mid no wing play). this means The ball wont be fed to Dzeko in the box (which is where he does his buiss) and for him to get touches he wonders down and starts trying to get involved hence his first touch is like a donky comments which is true but thats not his fukin job . The reason he does well off the bench is cuz the pass and move /play through the mid has failed badly (which has been the case for the past few weeks) So when he comes on they revert to plan B wingers start chucking the ball into the box(Micon) and hence why he gets the goals. some of u guys seriously have no idea wtf is going on the pitch to say he is useless playing from the start. And again Kun did fuk all for the whole game except for that sublime finish. if dzeko wasted some of those open goal chances there would be pitchforks and a lynch squad after him.

Your theory on the 'pass and move' aspect is clearly a false one. Dzeko was part of the team when we hammered The Scum Six Swan and that was very 'pass and move' orientated. That's just one example.

In fact, Dzeko tends to spreads the play very well, when he has a run of games to relax into.

The 'problem' (if I can say that) is tempo and directness. When Edin starts, the balls floats around the midfield for ages and that's why Ed drops in there to get involved. There can be an over emphasis on trying to draw out teams (which is why you say 'pass and move' not working), but that's not why Edin looks so poor, at times.

He makes some very good runs but we need to quicken the tempo, as a team and then maybe we'll/ he'll score more and he will look 'better' to people.

Swap for Wilshere.

Add Suarez,Fellaini and Isco - we'll piss the league.

Eh?

It was as much counterattacking game as you could imagine it. All goals except first were from classic or half-classic counter attacks,

IF City is playing better with faster buildup + crosses, than I ask myself why oh why Mancini keeps pushing with that slow buildup every time in the first half.

If City can't play like Barcelona, for sure it can like Dortmund or Real Madrid. Also, Mancini should form two partnerships like Aguero & Dzeko and Mario & Tevez and give each a proper time on the pitch.

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

we are not losing dzeko are we, unless all this gay sub stuff goes to his head. which it wont.
