He was better than Aguero tonight so what does that make Aguero?

Assume you didn't see Sergio playing on the left last night then? You know, out of position? Agree about Edin though. Thought he played well. The person at fault for last night's shambles is Mancini. For whatever reason his tactics in the CL (particularly for us, not sure what they were at Inter) are mind boggling.

People here totally fail to see the obvious:

Aguero = Great
Tevez = Great
Dzeko = Great
Mario = Great

What's NOT great is - our midfield. Not EPL championship caliber, and definitely not CL caliber. It has been that way so far the entire year.
For whatever reason our midfield constantly gets run the fuck over.
In such circumstances - it really doesnt even matter who we have upfront...
It's getting quite disgusting actually - the disconnect between our midfield and our strikers.
No flow, back 4 pass around sometimes for up to 2 minutes (believe it or not) and then kick out a long, and feckin inaccurate pass and thats how our attack ends.

That combo that led to a goal last night?? Last year we had 4 or 5 of those plays each game, this year we have one in about every two-three games.

None of our strikers are a problem. They make good runs, the ball doesnt get there. EVER.

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Eagles Fan is on the money again..........the problem does not lie with our strikers, indeed the problem is midfield and also defence.........and tactics..........

Unfortunately Edin cannot score in every game and win us every match, we also missed Silva........

Every time I saw Dzeko on the ball, he looked good. The problem was our team didn't get it up to him enough and its as if people think Edin should be all over the park picking up touches everywhere ffs...
They know nothing about football, just a bunch of spoilt brats. Watch when Edin leaves city he'll score shit loads because that's the type of player he is. We need him and Kolarov on the pitch as much as possible otherwise were toothless a lot of the time.

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Does he understand the offside rules?

Not good enough, billion offside, he should of scored!!!
No excuses, he asked for a start and did nothing again...... Bayern, Villarreal, Napoli, Dortmund?? not giving a chance?

Don't expect him to start, impact only...

Name me one striker that scores every game. If he would be missing for City what Higuain and Bezema keep missing for Real he would be expelled from the club long ago. And with that service he had last night, even Messi wouldn´t score. And idk what is so wierd for player of his profile to get caught offside couple of times, he´s there on the line to wait the moment and run into the ball. Anyways, whole team and tactics were disaster last night, pumping in strikers in to play could never bring a result.
