Love him to get his head down and put a shift in, but I've been waiting for him to do that all season. Head is elsewhere. He's another Mario Gomez but Gomez would look absolutely out of his depth playing Tiki Taka

Dont get me wrong - I am NOT looking for excuse for Edin's current attitude and effort last two games - it's inexusable.

However - when things were "right" he did some things for this club that will never be forgotten. He shouldn't be singled out for title loss is all I'm saying.

His performance this season compared to last is worse by the looks of it (although debatable).

However, what about Aguero?? If you will be looking at strikers as a reason for lost title (which in itself is ridiculous IMO) - how does 12 (or whatever) goals compare to 20 plus Kun had last season??

Injuries - Yes. But its irrelevant to this point. It's a team game - but noone is eager to blame other players (Kun due to injuries, Silva, Nasri, Kompany, on and on) - its easier to single out Dzeko.

To me that's a really shallow view of a football club, and that's all.

As far as Edin's attitude and effort - again, it is inexusable (I would suck it up and play through the end), however, how long is the list of players with fallout under Mancini?? To compete at the top level, there are some changes needed in this club (wing play, first and foremost, and potentially even manager if he doesnt recognize that not even Barca can pull off same shit over and over again)...Edin should be least of your worries for next 2-3 years.

Regarding lost title, Mancini has lost us the title, not players. His slow build up play tactics, no plan B, poor man management, etc. are the reason for title lost. Hope Mancini get sacked too. We need manager who can take out maximum from the great selection of players that we have.

Then we'll wait a season for them to gel. The next season he'll try his formation experiments again and surely we won't see the title. Then he'll sell some players that doesn't fit into his "lost in space, slow as snail" system of play, even if he bought them a season before. I can go on and on. We were outplayed and ashamed by Ajax. Why? Because they have manager who has great man management skills and above all, has plan A, B and C. FFS in all these years Mancini was unable to come up with Plan B. Surely he made a lot of "god knows why" rotations replacing In-form players and not even using players he insisted to be bought last year.

So mate, for my opinion, Mancini doesn't have anything new to offer to our play, that why I think is better to spend money on new manager, than to spend 5-6 times more money on new players.
