Edin Dzeko

Did alright, didn't have many clear cut chances to score as we just didn't create that much.

What he did for the first goal was superb and exactly what he should be doing every week. Superb bit of play.

How did Dzeko play?

His layoff for Rodwell's first goal was pretty good, and he had a header in the first half that was alright. He put in effort today, but his first touch on many occasions still wasn't up to standard, and for a big striker he lost far too many aerial challenges with what was, lets face it, a poor and not particularly physically dominating pair of centre halves.

Ten times per game he should be taking passes like that & laying them off.

Don't understand why he isn't doing it all the time or why he stands in one spot when an areial cross looks favourite rather than trying to get in front of his marker.

Very strange player.

I think it was Nasri who put in a great cross and he sprinted across the defender and glanced a header with power and precision but unfortunately not quite enough. Still though showed a lot more desire and belief in himself to get there.

It has to just be a confidence thing.

The new manager either builds the team around him or sells him because otherwise next year we have the same problem, except he is a year older and worth less.
