Re: Edin Dzeko legend

he really frustrates me, he has still got the touch of an elephant but can score, he didn't like being called a supersub but at least he came of the bench and scored, now he has been given the opportunity to prove media wrong but can.t ! He needs to step up now from the kick off.

Scored 4 goals in his last 5 starts and City won each 5 of them. No wins in last 2 he did not started.

Don't let this stop frustrating you but I thought I had to do it :)

Well, if some of those crosses were not 3 yards in front of him he might get one of them.

If someone sent a pinpoint cross in to me, I might get one of them.

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Why do I get the impression kismet is about 60 & knits serious yoghurt?

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Nice one Seosa, not quite 60 yet. I do like yoghurt and I do a bit of bird watching.

Like my City history, can't stop reading Gary James books

Can't fault you on Gary's books.

Re: Edin Dzeko legend

Kismet you didn't look that old when I saw you on tv wrap your scarf round Tevez neck at the FA Cup Final. A few grey hairs. Can never understand why Carlos didn't keep it on.

Anyway I too like Gary James books they are the best.

Interesting to hear Gary's thoughts on Edin.

I believe he will go down as a key man in our history. In the finall game v QPR crosses were going in all afternoon with no success until the big fella came on. Will never forget him rising like a salmon and scoring. That changed the game. Will never forget him running back to the half way line shouting COME ON to his team mates.

I think Liverpool could be tricky this weekend.

10 chances? he hardly gets the ball in the right position 2-3 times in a game so that's kinda false.. and the fact he had to play as a winger (which led 2 great chances to score is more indicative of our lack of width then anything). if he can actually get the ball into the box he will score.
Last minute at our last home game 3 yards out blasted over the bar, his finishing is poor and his first touch is even worst. I honestly don't think he's good enough for us.

ugh not going to bother with such a shit post. your ether trying to get me to bite or you seriously have no clue.
Football is always going to throw up conflicting opinions, you have yours and I have mine. I'd never disrespect anybody for having a different opinion than me.

I just do not think that Dzeko is good enough to be starting games for us.
