I have been a bit lazy and not read all the three hundred odd pages in thread but I am really glad to read in the last few posts some pro Edin ones.

I believe in life there are those who talk the talk (several on this forum I notice) and those who walk the walk.

As far as I am concerned, Edin Dezko scores goals... lots of them... and many vital ones too.

Every time he plays it appears to me he is giving of his best despite all his frustrations last season.

I will be delighted if he stays with us.

And on a separate matter... I will try my very best not to slag off or insult any Bluemooner because I don't agree with them...

Why do some folk do this?

Are they reds in disguise?

Come On City.

good post but the also assume if your pro dzeko your from bosnia. kinda lame

My gif proves that he has the ability and skill. That's what some are disputing. Your gif does nothing but show that even top strikers can miss chances. You can find many examples of bad misses from Ibra, Gomez, Aguero etc.

Mancini himself said “I missed a lot of chances like that in my life. When you are unlucky, this is what happens in football.”

Sorry, but if you only post bad moments from a player and ignore everything else of course he is going to look bad. If your whole opinion on him is based on his worst moments, well, that's illogical and unfair. If I wanted to, I could post Aguero's worst moments and claim he's a bad player, but then you would tell me I'm full of crap even though you do that to other players.

Oh look, Aguero embarrassing miss. Well, I guess he is a horrible player.

<a class="postlink" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KzsivE6vTU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KzsivE6vTU</a>

Didn't take you long to show your true colours, eh? Bringing down another player to make Dzeko look good. Comparing him with Aguero who is double the player he is? Oh wait, bring up statistics. I am sure statistics donot show how amazing a dribbling technique and ball-control Aguero has(meaning that he can actually play outside the box) and how Aguero actually shows a lot more commitment on the pitch and doesn't have a bunch of blind (and biased) posters defending him.

I like how this thread is going.

Dzeko has a shit first touch? Blame Mancini.

Dzeko lazes around the pitch? Blame Mancini.

Dzeko doesn't press the ball, has a poor body language and shows poor commitment? Blame Mancini.

Dzeko is invisible for an entire game? Blame Silva, "Twatez"(as some idiot in this thread called him) or Aguero for being selfish.

Dzeko misses a sitter? Oops! No answer, just post a gif of him doing something he probably did once in his career and then say he has the ability. Or bring some other player down!

Dzeko is dropped for the Wigan game? Totally ignore the fact that he was rested for a CL game.

Dzeko rarely wins a header and is actually beaten by a player much shorter than him? We are not using him right!

If he is "world-class", why isn't he being banded with the likes of Cavani or Falcao and why are the likes of Real not actually after him?

But he scores for his international team, right? So was Jo, for Brazil in the confed cup. Infact let's bring up his minute-to-goal statistic up, something like 2 goals in 30 minutes. Maybe then under the fanboy-logic: Jo > Dzeko!!

People who are not blinded by fanboyism point out his shortcomings and they are suddenly branded as spoilt or disgusting. But fanboyism, criticizing and bringing down everyone else associated with the club: players, former manager(who in-spite of his shortcomings ended the wait for trophies) is acceptable, I guess.

What is Dzeko fails again this season? Blame the ball who had the audacity of not remaining trapped by Dzeko and not going into the net!

Maybe if the fanboys stopped bigging him up at every moment, especially by dragging another of our players into it, the haters might actually get off his back. Just a thought.

Only this.

I've been one of his biggest critics, but I actually think if he stays he might have a decent season.

Delighted again to see Edin score and even more pleased with the positive reaction he gave Negredo for the superb pass he laid on. If he gets that kind of service through the season he will score a lot of goals.
