All true.

Immediately Negredo looked like he belonged in our set up,he added to the team cohesion and fluidity.Dzeko adds very little to the overall effort,he has never really been a good fit.

I like to think that he scored and was also involved (on the recieving end) in the best piece of play yesterday.

no sam, he ruined the best piece of play by his uninterested, clumsy, shit, lethargic touch and shot over the stand...Negredo deffo showed much more in 20 minutes he was on the pitch then Dzeko ever has or ever will...

Embarrassing... It was a good save.

I concur
*Dons fishing hat*

I've been pissed with Dzeko's attitude a lot since he came to us but I thoyght yesterday he was one of the better players on the pitch for closing players down etc, sometimes I think our fans see things they want to rather than what is going on

Exactly, and some are getting more and more negative. Unbelievable really, considering these are our best times for years!

"And as I have said in ALL my Dzeko posts,I will still support the lad whilst he wears the blue shirt.

Absolute b*llocks. He pisses you off - and he scores goals - which you don't seem to like.
Mario pissed me off with his attitude - sometimes couldn't give a toss.

Will always want him to play well whilst he plays for City - unfortunately 9 times out of 10 I'll be disappointed. Yes he gets a few goals but who wouldn't. Not good enough and his overall team contribution is negligible.

Why can't the Dzeko "fanboys" understand that the game is more than just goals.
Dzeko just doesn't do enough. I couldn't care less if he scored 10 in 5mins or whatever his stats are.
I would sooner have Aguero in my team leading the line.

I am quite frankly sick of his attitude and work rate when he plays now. Scoring goals will only appease both fans and management for so long. When you have a bad spell which everyone does that is when the rest of your game is looked at and Dzeko outside of scoring goals is pretty shocking right now.

When Aguero wasn't scoring he was still at least putting in a shift on the pitch and attempting runs and shots. Sometimes it just doesn't come off.

When Torres went through his horrible spell he still was bringing the ball down and bringing others into play, making runs with and without the ball and looking like he wanted it. He eventually got his scoring touch back and you could see how much it meant to him.

When Dzeko isn't scoring he seems completely devoid of doing anything else. Which is frightening.
