Why can't the Dzeko "fanboys" understand that the game is more than just goals.
Dzeko just doesn't do enough. I couldn't care less if he scored 10 in 5mins or whatever his stats are.
I would sooner have Aguero in my team leading the line.

I am quite frankly sick of his attitude and work rate when he plays now. Scoring goals will only appease both fans and management for so long. When you have a bad spell which everyone does that is when the rest of your game is looked at and Dzeko outside of scoring goals is pretty shocking right now.

When Aguero wasn't scoring he was still at least putting in a shift on the pitch and attempting runs and shots. Sometimes it just doesn't come off.

When Torres went through his horrible spell he still was bringing the ball down and bringing others into play, making runs with and without the ball and looking like he wanted it. He eventually got his scoring touch back and you could see how much it meant to him.

When Dzeko isn't scoring he seems completely devoid of doing anything else. Which is frightening.

Didnt watch last nights came i assume. he was tracking back and tackling.

Exactly - the game has moved on from Micky Quinn and even Gary Lineker.

Yet he had more interceptions last season than headless running Tevez who was wank object of workrate loving City fans.

That's why your national team is in bobbins, all you know to rate is people running around the pitch for nothing, that's all you know about football too :)

He's a striker, his role is to score goals. If he gets 30 goals next season I couldn't care less what else he does. Which is better a striker that gets 30 goals in a season or one that scores 20 but runs around a lot?

In a friendly.

Your the biggest Dzeko fanboy of the bunch.

Anyway this season is his final chance with us.

I reckon everyone can agree with that.

This season is his final for City, not his final chance. He'll move somewhere on cheap, long away from twats that call themselves football fans.

Except Dzeko is supported more than most players at the ground. The "Edin Dzeko" song has been one of the most frequent. Even when he's been sending shots into Row Z I've heard it.

Supported my ass.. it's a good song, good tune so people sing it here and there when he scores or comes in as substitute, less and less louder each week.

The amount of crap thrown on own players (Dzeko, Kolarov, Nasri, Garcia..) on this forum tells all.. loads of City fans are going to be worse twats than rags in few years, they're already near.

Honestly, without going to games you can't accurately comment on the support from City fans. I go to every home game and the support for a player who, quite frankly, has under performed too many times, has been tremendous. He got his name sung far more than 'fan favourite' Carlos Tevez last season.

There are 56,000 members on Bluemoon, how many of them criticise Dzeko? Honestly MSP, you're sounding like one of the embarrassing people who support a player over a team, which I thought you weren't.
