Let me just clarify the list I gave were the leading scorers in each of the seasons we won the league, not the final games of the season. You could add Herd and Summerbee in 37 and 68 for their goals too.

When we won in 2012 Dzeko was the second leading scorer behind Kun and should be respected. His goal against QPR was also fundamental in the comeback.

One of the best strikers I've seen in 50 years of watching City.

If you put the ball in and he does not have to think too much he will score goals. Should have had 3 v Newcastle and was just wastefull with some and also great keeping for others. Today when you play the ball upto him to hold up it does not work as he has no 1st touch. His control is awful so its about playing to his strengths

Agree about the partnership. I don't think Edin did anything wrong besides lose the ball.

He had no service first half. The Negredo substitution ended up being correct, mind, the difference in technique was quickly apparent.

I disagree about the last point, Edin will still have a big part to play for us.

Distinct lack of service today however that doesn't mask the fact that he was back to his worst. He just doesn't get himself involved in the game and is lazy. Could see the instant difference once Alfie got on the pitch. Edin will be starting a few on the bench for now.

negredo came in with a passion to score a goal and he did. dzeko plays one game but than he plays like he is n1, but he is peace of shit.
dzeko has no talent, his only talent is that he must work at 200000% percent like zaba or like milner, but he wants something more :D
during 45 minutes we were 10 at the pitch and after negredo came in even that was enough to score goal.
so i hope negredo will be in starting line-up against stoke :)

Dzeko has easily been in contention for a start all season so far. Negredo is direct competition for him so may the best man win!

dzeko IS a top class forward : ) that's why the big clubs wanted him. just because he didn't play well today doesn't mean he's shit.

in the first half our setup and tactics were wrong . in the second half we changed tactics, but it was negredo who benefited from that.

would negredo have a good game if he played in the first half ? i doubt it.
