EDL Clashing with the police in London

FOR FUCKS SAKE ! Lets all fight eachother over some shite stirred up by the media so we can sign away more of our civil liberties in the name of safety. Problem to Solution all spoon fed to the public by the murdoch media .

As disgusting as what happened yesterday I can't believe the media , even/especially the bbc was able to report how they did. Pretty sure a "Muslim look" isn't a black guy in a stone island beanie. Think they're provoking more of the dumb shit that's happened since than the edl or anyone else .

They reported the EDL march? #DoubleStandards

The EDL court publicity and were near the scene of the crime, camera crews were already there.
I don't why they don't report this, perhaps because its unconfirmed reports or perhaps it is to stop other people joining it or going down there to start a scrap.

If they are celebrating the deaths, they are scum
You're bang on there. The cameras were already at the scene in Woolwich, whereas the likelihood of a news crew being in Oldham at this exact moment today is remote. There would be no reason for them to not report it, but they need to actually be there to do that.

Just looked on Twitter and it's being reported on there, by people like Blue81 who have heard it through mates etc, because that's all there is at the moment. (I take back my sarcastic post, Blue81, apologies).

Same here Pige glanced at twitter and it seems very fishy to me that not 1 person has managed to get a snap on their phone of these '100s' of muslims celebrating.

I've got to drive up that exact street about 5 o'clock tonight though, cant wait for that if it is true...............

You won't have anything to worry about mate. Remember the riots in Werneth in 2001? I drove through there at the height of all that and rock all happened, they seemed more angry at each other more than anything else. It was bizarre.

I do have a feeling though that tonight and over the bank holiday weekend especially, there will be a lot of unrest up and down the land, booze fueled most of it.

Remember them well Pige, I was 17/18 at the time and a lot of people I associated with took regular trips up to throw a few bricks and then run away.

Totally agree with the unrest element of your post mate, hopefully though any incidents will be isolated and dealt with promptly

Exactly, could be a protest against EDL, groups of that sort. Highly doubt there is hundreds of Muslims celebrating this incident on the streets of Oldham, for one they would all be getting added to the 'watch list'.

According to the EDL 'leader' we should also be sad over the passing of Salman Rushdie

Still no pictures lol.

Be pretty easy to take a snap of 100's of people celebrating in a busy street in the middle of the day.

Granada Reports are now tweeting it. Are you still laughing?

er no they're not

Not mentioned it on BBC local news
