Am I the only one who doesn't particularly care what the press report?

They have their opinions and can say what they like.

He helped us qualify for the CL and helped us win a tin pot. He then kicked up a fuss so he could be allowed to leave asap. That'll be £25,000,000 requested for the next club who are stupid enough to buy you and put up with your personality. Thanks for some fantastic goals, the impact you've had and goodbye.
I couldn't really care less what they print about the club imploding each week, the evidence is as clear as the nose on your face that its bullshit, however this is aimed at making the fans look bad to the rest of football, and most of the gullible that read it believe it, and that does piss me off.

DAILY MAIL JOURNO CAUGHT IN THE ACT!!!

A Daily Mail journalist was left 'blue-faced' with embarrassment today, after it was revealed that he had created a Guy Fawkes-like dummy of Carlos Tevez and then set fire to it in an attempt to grab headlines.

The journalist, named only as 'Sportsmail Reporter' in the article, is set to be investigated with a view to naming and shaming for this act of desperation. News agencies around the world have been starved of information from both Carlos Tevez and Manchester City Football Club, since the alleged refusal of the player to take part in a Champion's League match in Germany last week. Now, one of the Mail's team is set to land his or herself in hot water after an eye witness confirmed he saw the whole set-up.

The witness, named only as 'Baz', saw events unfold as the dummy was erected, photographed, set on fire, and then photographed again some more. It is though Manchester City Football Club will be contacting this witness in an attempt to aid possible charges against the Daily Mail.

Suspicions were originally raised with the apparent clarity of the reporter's pictures, taken both before and after the dummy was set alight, and also the fact that none of the pictures showed any other perpetrators. Despite this, the reporter claims in their piece that they saw nobody, depsite having photographic evidence of being there themselves both prior to, and during, the burning of the Tevez effigy.

According to industry rumour, the reporter in question claims they have a cast iron alibi for the night the photographs were alleged to have been taken, in The Ghost Who Never Lies, whom unfortunately for investigators, only that said reporter can ever see or hear.

It is thought that everyone else will laugh at the thought of buying the Daily Mail just a little more this week.

That's a Saab top from the 80's, ffs!

I could never ever bring myself to set a City top alight - no matter who's name is on the back.
cant see a blue putting tevez on the back of an 80s shirt.

lots of blues are wearing their favourite retro shirts these days, but never with a current players name on the back.

Knew I should've mentioned something yesterday...basically I was cutting down the street behind primark to get onto market street and saw a proper trampy looking bloke (think frank from shameless) with the shirt in the above pictures on. He was with a photographer who was taking pics of him lent on a black cab whilst he pointed at his shirt, then they walked to the Nike shop on market and took a picture at the window next to a caption that said 'The Perfect Strike'...Now whilst I thought this was weird, I just thought it'd turn out to be rags trying to take the piss or something not that a paper would actually be trying to make a story out of it?!

I think this tells you all you need to know about the integrity of The Daily Mail:
