EFL Cup - 3rd Round Draw (WBA away)

Away to a Prem club, imagine my surprise. Want to bet it won't be televised but the rags will?

Absolute farce.
 
Well!
On many fronts, drawn early morning on the other side of the World, not televised, we get drawn away (Again) to a Premier league side and David Gills team get drawn at home to Burton bloody Albion.

If that is not bent I don't know what is.
 
Is anyone surprised at this rigged draw?
I predict 75,000 at the Swamp to watch Mou's youth team take on the mighty Burton Albion even though it will be live on BBC
 
Surprise, surprise, another PL team away. Hopefully Pulis doesn't take it too seriously as well and our second string team could nick a win, in which case more games for the sidelined ones, or to regain some fitness (Gundogan, Mendy...). Oh, and a debut for Foden is due now. :)
 
Yet another premier league team away from home for us, jeeez we have some rotten luck in these draws, shouldn't complain though as every other club has these bad luck draws don't they.........................

Me too, great competition, great clubs home and away in that run we had. Loved it much more than CL though I understand CL is more important to City.
 
just logged onto bbc sport website to look at draw, guess what ? city were not even listed ! it showed 12 ties, the last being the red scum, yet we were the first name out reading this forum, bizarre. are they really that scared of us ?
 
So the last time we had a home draw, in both domestic cups, was Hull in October 2015?
 
Not like us to be drawn away to a PL side is it? Surprised at that.

Rags at home to a lower league side perhaps?
