EFL Thread | 2024/25

I love watching Championship Football and lower league games, Blackburn v Preston on now. Why can't Sky get someone else to commentate other than that knobhead Hinchcliffe...He's a fucking moron.

Anyway, 1-0 Blackburn.

To be fair, the quality has been dreadful. Not that Blackburn will give a flying fuck.
Agreed.

Very poor first half, Blackburn might get themselves into the playoffs this season although there's still along way to go.

I'm hoping Burnley finish 3rd and Blackburn finish 6th for a tasty play off game.

Just BBC gossip but if true you do have to wonder about some of these owners and management choices:

Carlisle United, who are bottom of League Two, are weighing up making an approach to try to appoint Steven Gerrard as their new manager following the former Liverpool captain recently leaving Al-Ettifaq

All 72 national league clubs are lobbying with the EFL for a 3 up / 3 down system.

Those in league two will be looking over their shoulder if that was to be voted in.

To be fair it's about time.

I can understand the stink it will kick up with some league 2 clubs mind.

Maybe the carrot of winner takes all play offs at the end of the season might sway it?

You’ve got to feel for Carlisle fans, bottom of league 2 and now they’ve appointed Mark Hughes as their manager.

Grim times ahead for them.

Derby sack manager Paul Warne.

Not sure anybody is shocked he has gone, especially after losing 8 on the spin but the timing is weird. Just after the transfer window closes and a day before matchday, he also did all the pre-match media for tomorrow's game.

Home to Harrogate ( bogey) town fc a win could put us right up there but somehow they turn up against us you but you will know all about that
