It's ridiculous, isn't it? You'd think they'd be in the automatic promotion places with a record like that, but they're not. I'm assuming quite a few 0-0s in their results. L***s' GD is actually 16 better than Burnley's. Sheffield United's (in second spot) is 12 worse!
I think their recent run reads something like W12 D9 L0 (there may be a cup loss in there).

If that's correct, that's a high percentage of draws. Comfortably over a third. If those 9 draws were divided equally between wins, draws and defeats, they'd be 3 pts better off. I remember "Sparky" (!) getting slaughtered on here for the amount of games we drew under him.

Red card after 13 seconds for Shrewsbury's John Marquis at Peterborough on saturday....

To me, it looks like he knew what he was doing. The view from behind the goal at the far end doesn't look good.

Definitely a red, he looks at him and raises his elbow

Coventry are flying at the minute. 5 straight wins in the Championship now, second only in the "last six games form table" to L***s. They're hitting form at the right time of the season. Automatic promotion has all but disappeared over the horizon for them. But a play off spot is certainly possible for them. That being said, it's incredibly tight in that race....

Even Sheffield Wednesday, down in 13th place, are not totally out of the playoff picture.

Lampard has improved a team for the first time ever.
