Wonder who the scapegoats next year will be.
Any of the ones that feel the need to go squealing to the press every time they have a little problem.

As I don't believe the majority, of what is written in the press and I'm certainly not going to slag off any City player, biased on what I read or hear on TV.
Even when it comes straight out of the mouth of the player himself?

The issues I have with Elano haven't been based on media-driven rumours; they've been based on the player himself coming out and talking shit on several occasions now.

Agree Dubai.....Elano gambled on Hughes getting sacked, lost, and as such will be on his bike.

Not shown much loyalty to the fans when he pissed off to Brazil 2 days before the end of the season. Ok he was injured but couldn't he have waited and shown some appreciation to the fans? I used to love the guy but if he wants to go, let him. There are more fish in the sea.

Just out of a matter of interest why would Inter want him?
Clearly I'm not alone in thinking SWP and Ireland are much better than Elano. Sure he can pass a ball and take free-kicks and penalties (but has hardly scored a bag-full, 1 free-kick and every penalty [but Anelka scored every penalty he took for us and don't forget last years Champs League]). But Ireland is a better passer by a country mile, probably faster and SWP is definately quicker, a better dribbler and tackler.
It seems he's just spouting his mouth off to get either a new deal at City (which seems unlikely) or to get other clubs much worse than Inter interested. That is if these quotes are real and not made up by the ever realiable press.

Every player is entitled to tout himself out in my opinion, they know they wont be much love lost from the fans thats their prerogative!

He has shown moments of brilliance and moments of indifference and can never seem to put a shift in for 90 mins. Would like to keep the guy in the squad but he's played for us for 2 years so doesn't exactly owe us a great deal of loyalty!

Ireland is not a better passer and SWP is an awful tackler. There is no way SWP is a better all-round footballer but he's from the academy so obviously gets overrated.

Sorry what I meant to say was SWP was better at defensive covering and tracking back. And perhaps Elano is a better long ball passer but is hardly as consistant as Ireland in a short range area around the box.

he needs to have a chat with sweep, how long does he think Jose will put up with his laid back style? tackling? tracking back? box to box? me thinks not, a top class player on his day but that day is when he can be arsed
