I like Elano and watching him against Egypt he was brilliant, not just his two assists for goals but he tracked back and put himself about. When Elano's bang at it he's such a great player to watch, but, if his agent is saying things like this and privately Elano is still moaning about not getting a new contract (despite having 2 years left on his current one) then I guess he's going to leave. I'll be sad to see him go if he is sold but we're in a fantastic position financially now and I'm sure Hughes will get someone of similar ability in.

Don't agree, his defending is an asset to the team, he doesn't defend on the goal line he defends on the half way line. He may not dive into tackles, but he stops opponents.

Hughes says he's staying, I bet he does.

Personally, I think he's going. He's an undoubted talent when he can be bothered but he's by all accounts a troublemaker and I can't see Hughes wanting to keep him if a decent offer comes in.
