After watching his 'performance' last night. No thanks !

Same as , runs around a lot little else

So... Having one odd game without a few key players in the squad playing a little insecure is enough to put you off?

Except Mangala can pass, can tackle and can also get up and down the pitch at will.

There's a reason why one is wanted by top clubs across Europe and Micah currently has a choice of one, and a mid-table one at that.

£45m for Thiago Silva, a fraud IMO, but many seem to rate him.

People laughed at United paying Leeds £30m for Ferdinand, a show pony prone to mistakes all the time.

United knew they were buying top potential.

Micah is at the limit of his ability, Mangala, is at the start of his.

You know what Mangala & Fernando deal ?

Nothing I have heard suggests we won't get them, barring PSG also in for Mangala.
What exactly have you heard?

Desperately need to sort this situation out and get a world class CB to partner Vinny

Nasty was our best and most consistent defender last season, however he seemed to have struggled with our higher line and pressing this year. His injury problems haven't helped either.

We'll need to buy one though your right, I've only seen Mangala in the legs against Napoli and Sevilla and he looked decent with potential.

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

My worry is we don't only need a partner for VK we need someone who can cover if he is out. We struggled when he was out earlier this season - what would happen to our season if he was out for 8 to 10 weeks.

For £40 million I expect him to be strolling around imperiously making last ditch tackles with a swing of his cock.

No defender is worth £40 million. I'd offer them 20 and then 25 mill take it or leave it.

They would leave it, then we still wouldn't have a defender. That's the Wenger way of playing the market and he's proved that it simply doesn't work. If the player is the one who you really want then you have to sometimes just bite the bullet and pay it, like we did with Fernandinho

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Seen him only two times, but very raw talent. Lot of work to be done to become a top class consistent CB. He has the potential tho.

But for me Hummels or Benatia would be choice. Dont think any of them would cost more than Mangala.

If Mangala starts for French at the WC with a few good games, his price will go up, better to make the transfer really early on or we wil pay 5-10m more.

Hummels would not fit in at all, Benatia would be great tho.
