Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Really getting worried about this signing the fee is ridiculous and a manager who is working with him day in and day out for the past few weeks seems like he doesn't rate him. He also seems to be a mile of kosiniecy sakho and varane! So much so that the manager would rather play sakho who had a thigh strain and when he eventually had to come of injured the manager choose to risk Varane who was was suffering with food poisoning! The coach seems to have no faith in mangala.

To try and put any doubter's mind at ease with this potential signing , Manuel Pellegrini has had a closer look at Mangala when he was Malaga's coach. Although Malaga won, there must have been signs of ability to consider him one of our chief targets.

Yep. So, tell me about the National Front... The BNP... Britain First... Jack 'England for the English' Wilshire...

Very easy to pot a whole country on the basis of a few. Try a bit harder.

Have your little tiff, by all means, but leave my country - which you probably know very little about - out of it.

Ignore them mate, brain dead fuckwits that spout shit they know fuck all about.

Makes them feel better about themselves and their sad little lives.

Tricky_Trev, where are you moving to?

Imagine being enough of a twat to type this.

Is that post aimed at me?

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

i think he's coming to City.

and although the 36-40M i keep hearing seems very inflated, i see that as more PSG/Chelsea's doing because of the high fee for Sideshow Bob.

i have reservations about having a young defender who plays in a lesser league and isn't a starter for his national side being the main piece of the puzzle added this closed-season, but ultimately i have to trust in our scouting and player personnel departments having this right. i suppose that the worst thing that could happen if Mangala doesn't live up to expectations (namely becoming a top CB and Kompany's partner) is that MDM is our guy next season and that perhaps even Nastasic even remembers that he was one of Europe's most promising younf footballers a very short time ago and reclaims his form...

then again, our scouts may have this right and he may be a top CB for us for 8-10 seasons to come (which would make the transfer fee seem trivial by then).

He definitely has potential but is not the finished article.

He could become the next Kompany, but could easily also become the next Phil Jones.
