I don't want him. He is fucking us about while he keeps his options open, so he isn't exactly desperate to be here. He isn't the finished article either and that is a lot of money on potential, especially seeing as he may never fulfill it.
I'd feel happier with Benatia. He's already a world class centre back and he wants to be here.

I'd imagine you mirror the feelings of many on here, myself included. Although if the rumours of Benatia refusing to train are true that has it's own downsides. We certainly don't need anymore prima donnas.

or... he just isn't prepared to sign until he is finished competing in the largest tournament he has every played in.

Has anyone actually seen an interview with mangala where he states he does not want to play for city and would only do so as 3rd or 4th choice??? If not its time people started to chill out we will sign a keeper we will sign a central defender and any other player we deem necessary to the squad we have a fantastic management team and board of directors that know what they are doing! Trust

He hasn't made a single appearance, even as a sub, so far.

Now, by competing do you mean "sitting on his arse doing fuck all"?

But he is in the squad training and may be needed and concentrating on that fact

The France team manager has been quoted as telling all his players to forget transfers until their world cup is over. Maybe he's just doing as he's told.

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Who cares if he is supposedly messing us about? Once he signs, He is a Manchester City player then he can't f-uck us about. He is a good defender and with him next to Kompany, That is the stuff of wet dreams, Mourinho will absolutely hate it if Mangala signs for us, We need to win this psychological war over Chelsea, Nice and early. Mourinho's agent is also the agent of guess who? Eliaquim Mangala, It will rub him up the wrong way, This is more than a transfer signing in my opinion.

Lets think of Mangala as a beautiful, rich, snobby posh woman who ignored you the first time you approached her, Then on the second approach she gave you a minute and still rejected you, On the third attempt she caves in and you get her into bed, You know she is a b-itch but she is worth the hassle when you are having all that carnal lust with her. Eliaquim Mangala is our beautiful, rich, snobby posh woman, Just get him into bed and then he has to dance to our tune.
