Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Is there a reliable source saying he has signed on the dotted line yet? or was it just a medical and talks...

He's just seen the blue shorts

Just realised he's not in London.

Someone's just told him they think it's a barm.

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Is this lad worth £30 mil? I don't know much about him.

Do people think he'll go straight into the team? Or understudy/rotate with Demichelis first season?

(Assuming he does sign, of course)
you dont spunk £32m on player to play understudy or being on bench for first year.

You might if you are buying him for potential and already have someone performing well in the slot.

That's the reason I am asking. By many accounts, Mangala isn't yet the finished article. On the other hand, MDM is vastly experienced and has been in top form the last few months.

everybody knows he is in the XI.. he won't be on the bench, only when rotated / rested. Demichelis will be 3rd or 4th choice. Mangala can also perform well now, as well as develop more at the same time.

You sound very confident...

He has been seen at Bridgewater (ours) and has started following city players now. Does that mean he signs for the rags? no. Calm down!

Following City players??
