Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Peter Spencer 4:31p.m. : That porto flight is now off air. Traffic control system...annoying and confusing

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Bbc saying it now and they are talking like city have made an official statement - no ins or outs confirmed.

Good enough for me. Always unlikely anyway. The deals were possible but Porto just wanted absolutely ridiculous money to make it happen. £12 million for fernando available on a free in a few months. £40 million for mangala 22 only 1 cap and no experience playing in a proper football league.

Stupid money glad city have walked away from that. They will get nothing for fernando now in a few months and I am pretty much certain mangala will sell for less than £30 million in the summer plus they take on the risk of him laying the rest of the season and possibly in the World Cup.

You need to chill pal, it's not even 5pm! We managed to sign Robinho and almost signed Berbatov in about 5mins on that historic day! Porto will come crawling back - Fernando more likely than Mangala, they will not likely negotiate on him. But Fernando can push this deal through Porto end.

Re: Eliaquim Mangala

Not with the time remaining and he's in Portugal. City have said no business beng done today. Good enough for me.

No BBC have said that. City haven't said a word. He doesn't have to come to Manchester. He can sign subject to a medical. Only need to get a contract in place, and that does not take long at all. Got until 11pm! Plenty of time. But I say it again, Fernando may happen, Mangala will probably not.

City aren't going to release a statement saying "We aren't signing Fernando or Mangala". Based upon what is being said it is highly, highly unlikely.
