Not sure if Porto owns the player, or one of many consortiums that buy players only to sell them for a profit. If Mangala is their property and he would be sold to the EPL, they will want the topprize.
Remember when watching some footage of the player, he's playing in the Portugese league.

Given recent evidence.....its a valid point.....however,watching him play suggests he has a great hunger for the game and all the ingredients to be top class - couple his power and strength with his excellent technical ability and hopefully you have a player who would be comfortable and successful in any league.

As always though,only time would tell and the proof would be in the pudding.A big investment but a calculated risk IMO.
