He achieved what he wanted to do with it and that is to ruin it. He hated the platform. He still does. He’s rich enough to do what he wanted to do.

I really admire his achievements and I liked him as a bit of a maverick and character. I'll admit though that I've backtracked on any positive view on him over the year due to his extremes on X.

Most recently I listened to his interview with Trump and I just cannot understand how any sane and clever person could listen to let alone entertain what Trump was saying. Trump repeated multiple things that were scientifically and factually wrong but Musk never corrected him. A major red flag for somebody who is so technical and detail obssessed.

For me when somebody crosses that line into political ideology then their mind and credibility is lost. He is now following the path of his father which is to become a disliked, mind-infected and conspiracy obssessed weirdo.

Slandering the British cave diver in the worst possible terms during the rescue of the kids in Thailand. Then getting away with essentially as he is super rich was a realisation point for me. Not a nice person.
