Elon Musk

Who’s next in line in Russia if Putin suddenly died, are they as hardline as him, we obviously know Vance is if Trump goes but would anyone taking over in Russia continue this?
A weak Russian president will be considered as a signal "Russia is a crumbling house, just one kick it will collapse". If russians are wise enough they will choose a strong leader.

They learned their lesson after Yeltsin. The next one will be a bastard as well.

It's the current strong leader that has essentially stolen all the money, destroyed the military fighting over a small part of Ukraine and has them sanctioned up to the eyeballs so the economy is slowly dieing.

Putins only successes have been backing a range of arseholes and useful idiots in Western democracies dragging them down to his level.

It will be very interesting to see how it plays out with Trump. Vlad wants sanctions lifted but also he needs the war to continue. If it ends the reality of what they have gained versus the cost will possibly be too much for the political class to cope with. Vlad needs Trump to basically bail him out but Trump might just be starting to think what's in it for him. The answer is very little, Trump doesn't have the political capital to be Putins bitch for the next 4 years.

Musk is tapped. Just gets weirder and weirder. Hated Doge activities mean he is an electoral liability.

Big day for Tesla. Production and deliveries data is due out. It was already expected to be down due to the transition from old to new model Y (I.e. the change in model requires a dip in production as the new product comes on line). For any normal car company the launch of a new product (cybertruck) would outweigh that issue but its pretty much accepted that 'truck' is a joke.

The big factor is that this will be the first qtr post Trump and Doge. There will be some lag in the data, cars ordered pre Trump election will be delivered in this qtr but still the impact of Musk going toxic will hit.

Last year in this qtr they delivered 387k cars.

Wall Street guesstimate is 377k

I'm thinking sub 360 but I suspect Musk might fiddle numbers to avoid anything that low.

It should also be noted that Trump picked this day at Random to announce his Tariffs. Purely coincidence?

Delivery data is out and its down at 362k.

There is a good chance that Tesla end this year having made and sold less cars than they did last year. And last year was down on the year before....

Just spotted a news pop up that he's stepping down as Trump's advisor?
Haven't read the details yet....

Yeah BBC have said rumours are that he'll announce he's leaving doge. Might conceivably be too little too late, he's done enormous reputational damage to tesla and they are going to need to do something spectacular to recover from that and the threat posed by other manufacturers. Even if you weren't paying attention before, he's recently outed himself as a pretty unpleasant piece of work and I would have thought in the eyes of many people that is something he'll struggle to come back from ?

doesn't want to release his financial status?
A judge declared him an employee a couple of weeks ago, and I saw something saying it means quite a lot of details need to be made clear.

BBC News are reporting the rumour too.

Yep, it's very difficult to undo a nazi salute.

Mentioned before it feels like a Gerald Ratner scenario for ‘Brand Musk’ but instead of shit watches there are shit swatzticars (you try a ‘humorous’ analogy!)

Was only a day ago he was still at with Le Penn’s sentence.

Fuck know where he goes from here…as far as fuck form anywhere would be nice.

That news was originally posted before 12 O'clock on the 1st April. So it might be an April fools joke etc.
That also doesn't make it untrue either!
