Emergency keeper loan / Hart / Brum [All merged]

Re: Re, harty and loan

The incentive they will be looking at is to keep Hart for next season ,that aint an option for me.

How many times? The FA Cup is a big red herring. James can return on the Monday after the season. He wins, Portsmouth get the cash and we get a very accomplished goalkeeper for 3 games.

There is no good reason not to get James to my mind unless Joe Hart is training with the team tomorrow.

Spot on, would be madness to not have Hart or James in goal by Saturday, City will be waiting for official approval before we sort it.

Re: Re, harty and loan

Brum just been c**Ts not sending joe back they have nothing to play for and if i was city i wouldn't loan them the shit of my shoes when they come asking

Re: Emergency keeper loan [Merged]

My mate works at the training ground and told me Gonzalez is fit again after a groin injury, said he is mustard and has played over 300 games in south america and also played against champions league teams like galatasary in the turkish league, not a kid either he is 27 so must have good experience, bring him on Bobby Manc !!!!!

then why would it be so public that we're after Sunderland's 3rd choice keeper and not an England international who has been playing week-in, week-out? I would think James would be head and shoulders above Fulop but I'm guessing there's a reason we haven't heard anything about going in that direction.

Re: Re, harty and loan

Suspect Birmingham aren't stupid enough not to see this as an opportunity.

I am sure they will have asked the question 'do you want him back if we can keep him next year?'

If he doesn't come back now it will be because City have said no chance, we want him next year.

Re: Re, harty and loan

Yes. It is possible for us to get Hart back, but it wont happen. Going off McLeish's after-match interview, i think they are going to dig their heels in and tell us to fuck off. They already know that we are keeping Joe Hart for ourselves next season, so they obviously don't think they have anything to gain by terminating the loan.
