Emergency keeper loan / Hart / Brum [All merged]

Re: Emergency keeper loan [Merged]

Re the James situation. I may be wrong, but I thought there was a minimum term of 28 days for any loan. This certainly used to be the case, which may be why the Cup Final could still be a factor

Yes. It is possible for us to get Hart back, but it wont happen. Going off McLeish's after-match interview, i think they are going to dig their heels in and tell us to fuck off. They already know that we are keeping Joe Hart for ourselves next season, so they obviously don't think they have anything to gain by terminating the loan.
yeah i think you may be right Trev m8 , really sad if thats the case cos there will be another time they need a hand

Googled it, you could be right here.

2. A short-term loan is for a period between 28 and 93 days, including the start date and the finishing date. (All loans are for a specific number of days, and technically there is no such thing as "a month's loan".) The player cannot be recalled by his original club during the first 28 days (although it's possible that such a recall is allowed for goalkeepers in an extreme case), but can be afterwards regardless of the original period of the loan. A club can have up to eight players on short-term loan during the season, but no more than four at any one time.

Martin Fulop to be our temporary keeper!?!?!?!

watching talk of the terrace and that ray stubbs has touted that we are trying to bring in martin fulop as our new/temporary keeper. now its espn so it is possibly not correct. i'm unsure, he seems an alright keeper

Re: Martin Fulop to be our temporary keeper!?!?!?!

wouldn't that be great if he could stop his old team getting champions league

Re: Martin Fulop to be our temporary keeper!?!?!?!

Apparently he kept Gordan out for abit earlier this season so he can't be too bad. We've seen what Gordan is capable of at the SoL not too long ago. We aren't going to be able to get a keeper of Givens quality in the next few days but Fulop wouldn't be a disaster.

Re: Emergency keeper loan [Merged]

Fulop would do me, but obviously Hart is the preferred option.

Surely something there could be sorted.

Re: Emergency keeper loan [Merged]

The M.E.N have reported that bbc seems to think we have already been granted the permission to get another keeper on loan but i cannot find it anywhere on the bbc website.
Just for arguments sake could we say sign Gianluigi Buffon on loan from Juventus and then make it a transfer in the summer for a shite load of cash i know Juventus will never do a deal like that but could it be possible????? or i am being really stupid on this ? < I know stupid>
