When first heard it was on SSN i thought i was just the usual sky speculation bullshit HOWEVER, its now on BBC News website that we have "made a formal request to Premier League" if they sanction it then its up to FIFA to give final approval.

Me and all, mate. It'd be a brilliant story if he has 3 blinders.

And sht if he makes just one major mistake. How can people put faith in a completely unknown goalkeeper at such a massive stage of the season. Look at some of the goalies that have come in or on in recent weeks. Maik Taylor - concedes 5. Begovic yesterday - concedes 7. Disruption like this with second rate replacements hits defences hard. We cannot flippantly risk Gunnar. Only James, Hart, Dudek or possibly Foster (if totally desperate) will do.

As for having to keep the emergency on the bench, thats nonsense. Totally unenforceable.

Like it was an outrage for RM to throw Boyata into a derby, Gunnar will be fine

Too big of a risk if you ask me. I watch the reserves alot of hes had some bad games.

You mean the game we lost in the last minute to a header that you could reasonably expect a top/experienced centre half to challenge for. Thanks for the example. Excellent for 94 minutes and one minor lapse costs us. Not his fault directly but he must take some responsibility as he was part of the back 4.
