I just find it weird that she should take offence to a couple of off the cuff remarks about her looks not being as awe-inspiring as her cheerleaders on here have made out, but is happy for everyone to tell her how fit she is

I could have really been a **** and congratulated Ricster on the time honoured technique of moving on the fitter girl's uglier mate but i fear that may be crossing the boundary a little

You find it odd that someone has defended themselves against personal criticism but not rebuked others for giving compliments?

To be honest, I find that a little odd. But whatever Ant, no hard feelings bud. I'm away to lose a shedload of cash at poker.

To be fair, if my semi nude picture was all over the night and i found a forumn full of women saying how fit i was and the odd couple (obviously the ones with eyesight problems) were calling my a fuck faced ugly ****, then you have to laugh it off and look at the mass percentage of things

I'm not trying to offend the girl, but if everyone is giving their opinions out then mine is just as valid

Ant's right. Natalie earns a living from exhibiting her face and body to the general public and if it's fair game for sleazy older men to drool over her then it's fair enough for posters to point out that she doesn't do it for them.

I actually object to any mention of Natalie's looks regarding her posts as surely her looks have no impact on her opinions on City, football or life in general? Obviously not.

Noel and Liam Gallagher are routinely questioned on here regarding their 'biggest blue' credentials and they were mega fucking stars so it's only natural that a model from Stockport will fail to win every single poster over.

I haven't seen any personal attacks on Natalie, she seems like a nice girl and she's one of us, that's all I care about to be honest.

If a pretty face tells me that Dzeko is a good signing then, I'm sorry, but it means no more to me than a hairy arsed bloke telling me he's a great signing. I rarely associate prettiness of face with validity of opinion on football. I apologise for that but fuck it.

My mate thinks I'm odd because I'd kill to lick Natalie Portman's face. I'm quite sure Ms Portman can handle the fact my mate doesn't find her attractive. On a similar note, as fit as Natalie Portman is (or Pike, whoever) it doesn't make their opinion any more or less valid.

I'd like to think Natalie Pike has been misrepresented on here and that in reality she's very secure in the knowledge that since her looks are her living that she must be blessed in some form.

I'd also wager that women like Natalie would prefer a man who could muster his own opinions as opposed to dropping to his knees and fapping like a 12yr old because he's seen her in Nutz.

Natalie is a big girl and can hopefully look after herself. The fact those defending her are only doing so due to her looks is actually way more offensive and patronising than Ant or Dida acknowledging that they don't find her the be all and end all.

Oddly, in this thread, that's a compliment!

In my opinion, it's much less offensive to read Ant or Dida politely explain that Natalie isn't their type than to read post after post of 'I'd smash her twat in with a hammer' or whatever else it is that virgins says these days to make it look like they've at least seen a vagina in some close up detail.

And yes, I know you're post wasn't serious....to a point and none of this rambling is aimed at you unless you want it to be in which case you can put your dick beaters up and take the lashing I've got in store.

I'd react in exactly the same way if a bloke was being criticised in his absense....in a thread that he hadnt started....and done nothing to deserve the criticism.

Done the same in the past with Didsbury Dave for gods sake. And he quite annoys me sometimes.

I'm sure that DD can defend himself - in fact I know he can - without me sticking up for him and I'm sure its the same in this scenario too.
