Empty seats.. worsening trend?

Barcelona had 28K at the match last night.
Getting some shit attendances doesn't stop them being one of the biggest clubs in the world.
And they are expanding the Nou Camp - has anyone told camel gob, and ginger bollocks.

Every big club in europe is the same. In my opinion it's better to have the seats and not fill them, rather than filling a smaller amount of seats every game and people missing out.

The North Stand (Family Stand) always seems to be the worse for it - personally think that should be knocked on the head as kids are sitting all over the Stadium anyway.
I can imagine mainly due to the fact that the kids season tickets are so cheap that for certain games the parents may just decide to skip a game and sell the Adult ticket - won't be losing a lot in not attending a few games a year.

I'm in the Family Stand and have got a six year old who doesn't go to night matches if there's a school in the morning although I do usually find someone to give it to.

Sometimes I have to do a 40 mile round trip to her Mums to get her for a daytime game. Not everyone can do that or has an ex who's prepared to work around the football if their child wants to go - trust me I'd be quite happy to be able to go for a few pints after the game if the little 'un couldn't/wouldn't go to a weekend match.

The price of a season ticket for an adult and a child is about the same as it is for an adult in the cheaper parts of the ground so I don't think the finances come into for many people. And of the people I know who have season tickets its the adults only ones that miss the most games by going on weekend trips away and making other plans - us single parents can't get babysitters to do that so have to go!!

You mean everyone except united, no one can get a ticket for OT and you have to join a waiting list of over a million to get a season ticket.

Just got back from goodison .made my mind up to go about 9.00 this morning went onto evertons stubhub site found 2 tickets together in the main stand £52 for the pair .
The lad woke up at 10.00 went to book them they had dropped to £47 .
We have no membership at Everton just went to the ground and picked up 2x £46 tickets for £20 each plus £7.2 0 booking fee.
Why carnt city do something so simple instead of leaving hundreds of tickets unsold on viagogo with no one benefiting ?

Just to add a bit more ,if those tickets had been on sale on viagogo they would have had to have been up for at least £45 each plus a hefty booking fee and we would of had to have either one or two £35 memberships so approximately £150 ?
Obviously we wouldn't have bought them and the season ticket holder would have got nothing for them, and the seats would of remained empty.
As it panned out the Everton season ticket holder got back the cost of his ticket .we got to go to a game we couldn't get tickets for and Everton had two full seats .so everyone a winner !

59 tickets still left on Viagogo for the Arsenal match.

If you wonder why.

The most expensive remaining 1 out of the 59.

It's the same everywhere. Stop worrying about what other people think of us and enjoy your life.

In answer to your question, you buy your SC, it's yours, you attend whatever games you choose to.

If you buy a new coat, the shop doesn't tell you when to wear it ;.)

exactly its a hobbie and passion not a vocation

There was an article on Facebook on 45000 turning up to welcome Torres back to Atletico and some gimp commented that it is more than City get for games, did some research and last season when we won our respective leagues our average attendance was 400 higher. The sad thing was that his comment go 19 likes from brainwashed lemmings.

I saw something similar with the guy comparing to Torres' homecoming to a ''City match''. The ''City match'' was actually a midweek game at Milwall...sad bastards

You see a lot of these internet "football experts" with their expert opinions ie "just see the Etihad is half empty again !" or "loads of empty seats again at the emptihad" They make me laugh these clowns, if it wasn't for the media they wouldn't have a clue about football !
