Under Pep I could see Can becoming a top class CB (a la Abidal/Mascherano/Martinez)
He's probably better on the ball than Abidal, he's bigger than Mascherano and quicker than Martinez.

Don't think he's particularly good but I'd certainly sign him on a free as it would really annoy the scousers. Then just sell him for a very healthy profit a year later when he's failed to get in the team regularly. Tbf he'd be a decent squad player I suppose, giving us cover in a few positions.

Not sure he's good enough for us but under Pep's tutelage I could see him improving. On a free you couldn't really go wrong, but would still be surprised if he ended up anywhere besides Juventus

I would say Pep sees him at DM or wants to permanently turn him into a CB. He has played CB a lot and his ability on the ball is obvious. Would be a master stroke.

He would save us 1 spot, acting both as 4-th choice CB and rotational option for DM position. Would allow to use 3ATB if needed as he has it all to be creative RCB.
