Emyr Huws

Huws awarded MOM on his debut for Birmingham City v Derby County on Saturday
Also got an assist for a clever flick on to the post from a Rusnak corner that led to the equalising goal in extra time.
Great to see both lads settling in well, getting proper game time and plaudits.
Both have slotted seamlessly into the Championship and are a credit to the calibre and quality of player we now have at EDS and U21level
More to come from both these lads I am sure.<a class="postlink" href="http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/birmingham-city-emyr-huws-hit-6668458#.UvDy-3kRbTY.gmail" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/f ... RbTY.gmail</a>

Nice interview from the lad.

Two appearances now for @EmyrHuws1 at Birmingham and @WhoScored has rated him MotM in both. And an assist today. pic.twitter.com/MS6Mxzc4Gv

Another MOM today.

Seems to be stepping up to the plate and seizing his opportunity, maybe has the potential to be a useful squad player for us? In fact,Given our current situation he might have timed the loan badly.....

I was just thinking the same thing when I read the tweet from CityWatch. He really seems to be coming on very well.

For whoever has seen a lot of him, does he break play like Fernandinho? Basically ,does he suit our style to warrants 4th choice CM ?

From our first team squad I would put him behind Fernandinho,Yaya,Milner,Rodwell,Demechelis and Garcia.

I think he can offer more going forward than Demichelis
