Emyr Huws strike against Middlesboro voted "Goal of the Season" at Birmingham City FC awards ceremony at PA14

I think he will get a lot of games in pre-season and it is up to him to impress.

Patrick Viera rates him very highly - there's obviously a reason why.

Could be our Busquets!

Id eat my shoes before that's happening, he has been impressing but i seriously doubt he'd be a regular for us at a high level. Sorry!

Yeah I know, could see him do maybe a Rodwell role though perhaps, coming off the bench now and again

he will be 21 on september. hopefully Pellegrini will give Huws chance in the 1st team, rather than keeping unfit Rodwell in 25 squad players.

I think we should be looking more at him replacing someone like Rodwell, a young player who's willing to work himself into the ground for the cause will be useful. Not against the likes of Chelsea or Real Madrid but in cup games and the less glamourous fixtures then selling him on for a decent profit when his stocks high.

I also doubt he'd be a regular for us at a high level but then again when you look at our squad we don't need that, we need an inexpensive 5th choice CM who'll fight for his place.
