Time to get fracking and look after our own energy needs, whilst we’re building our own nuclear power stations. People will freeze to death this winter and it’s completely unnecessary.

Was on the radio today, you just have to wait, no panic apparently.Spoke to both, green said they cant open a dispute because theyve no longer got a licence and to contact shell. Contact shell and they cant do anything because I havent got an account with them
Plus we buy everything of China who are burning coal like there’s no tomorrow. Absolutely crazy. But green Is the future
surely the coal we ship in we could make here , low emissions than transporting it
some of it makes me think the government don’t want another mining strike like the 70’s so better to ship it in
Easy to say but my accounts now wrongly in the minus and I haven’t even been billed for electric yet. 300m3 is a lot to overcharge me by. Just want the dispute open as the ombudsman won’t get involved till after 8 weeksWas on the radio today, you just have to wait, no panic apparently.
Mo Salah like this.It works.
i signed up and then got some others to and bingo, 200 in credit.
I don't want to patronise but are you sure the minus figure isn't a credit? Some energy accounts are set up that way.Easy to say but my accounts now wrongly in the minus and I haven’t even been billed for electric yet. 300m3 is a lot to overcharge me by. Yours is typical of a situation many find themselves in, the Energy Companies are in turmoil, the price of a therm of gas is going through the roof and customer accounts are a mess. The Ombudsman will probably not get involved even after 8 weeks because this is a unique situation and it’s going to take a long time to resolve. Variable tariff’s are the only option as of now, there’s no point in signing up to a fixed price as it’s not economically savvy.Easy to say but my accounts now wrongly in the minus and I haven’t even been billed for electric yet. 300m3 is a lot to overcharge me by. The price cap is still in place so it’ll be next winter that a lot of people will struggle to heat their homes because of the current high prices. This is because the next year’s price cap will be set based on the current wholesale prices.Time to get fracking and look after our own energy needs, whilst we’re building our own nuclear power stations. No, my bill shows exactly what they think I've used and I've got all my (actual) readings on my phone as I take photos for this exact reason. In 8 weeks of August and September (2 weeks of which I was abroad) they think I've used something like 330m3 of Gas. Thankfully because I've got the photos, I can prove I submitted my opening reading that was 300m3 less than the "estimate" they used 9 days later. I just hope when Shell do open my account they can dispute it on my behalfI don't want to patronise but are you sure the minus figure isn't a credit? Some energy accounts are set up that way.
