England friendly....

Think we need a big man playing with Rooney as he is being drawn back too much. Heskey is gash but seems to have worked okay with Rooney. Rooney/Crouch might be our best option or maybe Rooney/Carlton Cole?

walcott ow on earth does he get into this team
I dont get it either. Shit hot pace but no awareness no skill no first touch or close control. He should have been a runner...in straight lines

We're not being un-patriotic!

I dont WANT them to lose. I just think its nice to gain perspective once in a while.

By laughing?
Well, seeing as Egypt have been the better team than the team that is supposed to win the World Cup this year, I found it quite funny to watch them play embarrasingly awful football at the back when one of our players (Lescott) hasn't been chosen over someone who hasn't been as 'on form' as our player. (Upson).

I want England to win, don' get me wrong. But I wish people would stop running away with themslves. Going down to Egypt at home, is just a little realisation that they aren't a 'world beating' force.

So City are supposed to break the top 4 as we have money and top class players etc..

Do you laugh when we lose to smaller clubs/teams?

Probably not.

How are Lescott and Joe Hart not in this side? I thought Capello took form into consideration

At a Manager who LIES blatantly about his selection policy. Claiming he will only pick players if they are playing (and playing well) for their Club and are REGULARS.

At a Manager who chooses the likes of Upson, Green and Brown over Lescott, Hart and Richards etc.

I agree, i have a strong disliking of Capello and his blatent lies. I'll loose no sleep if England loose tonight or in the group stages of the WC, or even the semi finals for that matter.

But i'll still 'want' England to do well, i just can't support the likes of Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard et al.

Same old problems for England, sides still find it far too easy to pass around them and stop England getting the ball.
The likes of Spain will have a field day against England.

I'm closer to City than I am with England.
THIS GAME, is a friendly.
If City lose a friendly it doesn't get to me as much as it would if we lose a game in the league.

And yes, City are expected to break the top 4, quite soon.
