England Squad - Euro 2024

I think the opposite, Jack's biggest critic is himself, He's very hard on himself when you hear him talk in numerous interviews, I think Jack being left out is a bad thing for us in my opinion.

It's clear as day with Grealish when he's low on confidence, As we've seen in the treble winning season he's at his best when he's playing regularly.

I hope you're right of course.
Good for us as he gets rest, no risk of injiry and back early for pre season.
Also this will hopefully make him hungry to prove people wrong who have talked shite about him.

Then again he could get down about this, go on a 4 week ibiza bender and be pictured dressed like hugh hefner all summer.

I think he will use this as a reson to show he is worthy of a place tbh.

Anorld isn't a bad call at CM. He is a fantastic passer of the ball and a dead ball specialist.
It's not just about being a good passer is itA a DM is a completely different role to a right back. He has zero positional sense which is absolutely essential for a DM role and just lets players drift past him. He's also not strong enough and can't tackle. Klopp shoehorned in that position as he obviously didn't trust him as a right back.

When he played there against bigger teams he looked completely lost.

No way is he a DM

long relax for Grealish, he can come back 120% fitness wise for pre/season and concentrate on next season. want the same from Haaland too.
this Southgate mediocre coach, I mean no fucking way he can win a tournament despite this squad should biggest favourites alongside France. I assume he will be undone by a lot lesser side in around 1/16 or 1/8 round.

I see him as part of a 3 with Rice as the DM. Him as the passer and 'Real Madrid' as the box to box. 3 different players bringing 3 versatile qualities to the midfield

Granted, attacking wise they'd be better with Foden as the most attacking version with Rice and RM as box to box. But either works. Foden is almost guaranteed to play LM with the players that are rumored to be cut

England has too much talent.

So we know what happens now, someone will get injured tomorrow and he will have to ask one to come back, I'd personally tell him to fuck off but I know how much they all love playing for their countries (for some bizarre reason)

People go way overboard with the criticism of TAA's ability, yes he's a massively unlikeable smug scouse prick, but he's a very talented player. He has defensive issues, particularly his positioning, but his passing range, crossing, long range shooting and dead balls are as good as anyone bar Kevin. A good manager should be able to make use of his talents and cover his deficiencies.
