Cole has taken a few in his time. He's shit at them, yet seems to get lucky. Every single one he does goes low, little more than 2 yards to the keepers right. So far, keepers have tended to guess the wrong way against him. Really? I know he's not exactly a footballer and it annoys me that he's rated so highly by the media because of one good game against Croatia but his pace in the last 20 minutes of matches would create so many opportunities. Ideal substitute.

Baines is an attacking left back like Cole, and it's the attacking stats he excells in, especially with assists.
Warnock might be a better tackler, but Baines is the player in form, despite the Mexico game.
Wright Phillips isn't in the same league as Lennon etc, and I'd rather Johnson had gone.
