Baines is one of the best takers in the business. I've not seen Warnock or Cole take too many lol.

Baines has the best defensive stats in the league, so weird decision.
Baines has a tackle success rate of 65% compared to Warnock's 79% so he clearly doesn't have the best defensive stats between those two never mind the league.
I'd still have Baines though :)

Baines must have shot himself in the foot with the "homesick" bollocks. I can't see any other reason to take Warnock over Baines.

The odds of Baines being on the pitch when we get to penalties is so slim as to make it virtually irrelevant. Cole's taken a few and scored them for Chelsea and Arsenal over the years. FA Cup final 2005 comes to mind.

Heskey has had 8 shots on target this season compared to Bents 55.

baines wouldnt have got a chance to take any penalties in the knock out stages, would have been crying to get back to the UK by then!
