Not sure who does the player ratings on the sky sports , Walker only a 6, Stones only a 6, yet Pickford who kicking was woeful and dodgy to say the least for the free kick got a 7, Maguire got 8, same as the front 3, they watched a completely different game to me, the mind boggles
Maguire played really well, especially breaking out with the ball. Had a couple of chances, too.
Didn't really think Stones had to do much, but Walker was everywhere, he should definitely be 7 at least.

Agreed Maguire played really well, point was making is that walker was just as good if not better last night, stones had very little to do again, if pickford is a 7 then Stones was a 7, they even gave the Saka the same as Sterling, who was man of the match by a mile in my opinion, crazy ratings them mate

Thought taking off Grealish for Trippier invited pressure on to us and meant we found it hard to retain possession in their half. Hard to call out Southgate after guiding us to our first final since '66 but we looked a lot more comfortable with Grealish on. Anyway, it was a good performance and even more so after going behind. The better team won even though it was by a narrow margin.

watch the game again, walker and pickford both had a go at maguire for being out of position, you can see walker telling stones to tell him where to be ,that may be down to fitness him having not many games before the comp started .

sterling was motm again, stones was solid, walker was just behind sterling for motm.
though kane had a good game, some of his hold up and passing was excellent

About 20 mins before your comment I posted:

The most disappointing part of the game for me was that as soon as we got our nose in front, we went to 5 at the back and took off an attacking SUBSTITUTE!

It immediately put us on the back foot and allowed Denmark to come onto us.

Then, when we did get forward AT ALL, we wandered into the corners (FOR THE LAST 10 MINS!!!) when one more goal would have ended the tie as a competition.

Instead, we were one dead ball away from a goal scoring opportunity!

Pep would have been trying to make that game 4-1, not hang on for dear life after scoring a dubious PK rebound in the second period of Extra Time.

Smacks of a distinct lack of confidence and I’m sure the Italians will smell it on Sunday!

I guess great minds must think alike?!

Those ratings are ridiculous!

Walker has a very strong case for MOTM. Hell, he was still overlapping and sprinting into the attacking corner flag areas in the final minutes of the game….after two hours of not letting a single ball or player get past him all game.

In fact, one of his passes curved down the line to Kane was the pass of the game!
