Finally the stadium alcohol ban announcement 48 hours out from the opening game.

Cannot understand how Foden is left off for Mount, let alone Sterling. It’s like Southgate wants to not start the best XI. Not sure why he’s never rated Foden.. he is the best player in the squad not named Kane!

Its an absolute travesty is foden doesnt get a start in the first game which is probably considered the easiest of the group. he's Englands most talented attacker and basically pushed sterling out of his position and out of the club. Clearly in better form atm too. bemused to be honest, the front three should be foden, Kane, saka

still mind boggling that people are not sure of foden, he needs a solid run of games in sterlings position or tried more centrally. he will win you more games than sterling in the long run.

But this talk of Gareth is loyal to sterling and Maguire is ridiculous neither of them should be anywhere near the starting line up. play players who deserve to be starting then change once we got the first game out of the way if necessary.

Made me laugh when the Mail or Telegraph said Southgate was preparing to go ‘gung-ho’ with the inclusion of Saka.
